Why I Need An Egg Donor

Kelly & Sam

Sadly, I am at risk of an inherited genetic disorder called Huntingdon’s Disease, a condition that damages nerve cells in the brain and gets worse over time. Testing to establish whether I will definitely develop the disease is not something I have chosen to do for personal reasons.

However, I am certain that I do not want my children to be at risk from this awful disease. Sam and I would love to be able to have a happy and healthy family. We’ve discussed all the options available to us and we believe egg donation is the best way for us to have children.

We’re now hopeful that our clinic will be able to find a very generous lady who would like to help us become parents.
