In 2010, MFS and the NGDT organised an informative event at the Rochdale Rugby Club. We wanted to see what was needed to inspire a group of fit healthy rugby players to become sperm donors.
It took one hour of speaking to a sperm donor coordinator advising of all the technical, legal and financial ins and outs, a counselor, a sperm donor who shared his anxieties and answered many of the questions and a family who wouldn’t have been complete without a sperm donor.
One hour of talking raised the initial interest from 4/24 to 14/24: an inspiring result!

Without doubt if there is more engaging information provided to potential Sperm Donors and helping create a better understanding of why it is important it will increase the numbers of actual Sperm Donors.
